For indoor and outdoor
Suitable for: Solvent-free wood paint based on natural raw materials, suitable for children's toys according to DIN-EN 71-3 and DIN 53160 resistant to saliva and perspiration. For all wood indoors and outdoors, such as garden houses, garden furniture, garden toys, bee houses, facade cladding, doors, windows, fences, half-timbering, etc. suitable. Environmentally friendly coating, weather-resistant, highly water-repellent, permanent protection against UV radiation, based on natural oils, non-drip, open-pored, moisture-regulating and low-odour.
Application/Processing:
- The surface must be free of grease, clean, dust-free and dry.
- Adhere to the processing temperature, even during drying from +8 °C, wood moisture content not over 18%, humidity <60%.
- The final hardness is reached after 10 days. Avoid exposure to moisture during the drying time and treat with care. The drying takes place through the absorption of oxygen (oxidation) with a product-typical odor, so make sure there is sufficient, temperature-controlled air exchange during the drying period.
- There is a risk of fungus in softwood outdoors. Therefore, before the first coat of paint, pre-treat with eg yellowchair impregnation primer. The effect can be different on different surfaces. We recommend a test coat.
- Stir the contents well before and during use. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides before installation.
The wood color can be applied by brushing, spraying, rolling or dipping. Old paints that are still wearing can usually be painted over. For the best possible durability, apply 2 coats indoors and 3 coats outdoors. Dust-dry after approx. 3 hours, can be painted over after 8 hours, block-resistant after 8-24 hours (drying time may be delayed in wet, cold weather or high humidity). Certain types of wood, such as oak, larch, cedar, teak and cork, can lead to the bleeding of wood components. Then a pre-treatment with eg yellowchair insulating primer is required.
Consumption: Approx. 60 - 85 ml/m², ie 1 liter of wood stain is sufficient for approx. 12 - 15 m² of area per application, depending on the type of wood and surface (planed or rough-sawn). With grooved wood, the consumption can increase (factor 2 - 3). A lower consumption influences the durability of the coating.
Cleaning: Clean the brush and painting tool with warm water and soap immediately after use.
Storage: cool but frost-free.
